Week 28

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain: 22 pounds as of last week’s appointment. I am consistently gaining 1 pound per week.
Maternity clothes? One new maternity/nursing bra. It is so nice to have a properly fitting bra after months of “trying to make it work”.
Stretch marks? My belly is free of them so far.
Sleep: I am sleeping almost too well. I haven’t been rolling around; which means I don’t wake up but I am stiff in the morning. I sleep 6 hours straight and when I wake for a restroom trip my bladder is very full.
Best moment this week: Ah, our Mini-Babymoon!
Miss anything? Pants and sushi.
Movement: All throughout the day. She still has enough room to do flips. Space is getting limited though. I feel her on opposite sides of my belly or up by my ribs and down by my hip at the same time.
Food cravings: Hot chocolate and cold tea drinks.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Showing? Yes. This week I had people asking me everywhere I went.
Gender: Girl
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Belly growth spurt = more clothes don’t fit, can’t eat as much at one time, bigger baby (I love that one), getting up is much easier with help, people ask a lot of questions…
Belly button in or out? Out. A sweet lady commented on it. She said it was so beautiful and I needed to take a picture of it poking my dress.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Finishing school in two weeks!
Baby’s fruit size: Chinese cabbage… alright.

So, we had a Mini-Babymoon.
Our two days went like this:
Drive to Pasadena, walk around Downtown, buy old Winnie The Pooh book for $2, eat delicious Asian dinner, sleep in, walk to lunch, drive to Hollywood, watch and enjoy Iris by Cirque du Soleil, go to Santa Monica for a pizza dinner and a walk on the pier.
It was lovely!
